CEL400 Voltage drop compensation cell. These cells ensure the compensation of the voltage drop in the 400 Hz distribution cables, when the distance between the 400 Hz generation and the aircraft is important and the intensity required by the aircraft is high. They are used especially in centralised 400 Hz installations or when a 400 Hz converter supplies more than one aircraft connector, the consumption characteristics of which differ strongly one from the other. The cells can be installed centrally or in the immediate vicinity of the distribution point.
